The generated designs are yours for personal, non-commercial use. The Pokémon brand itself is owned by Nintendo. Please be respectful of their intellectual property.
Can I choose the generation style (e.g., Gen 1 vs. Gen 8)?
Currently, the AI generates in a modern, consistent style. We are working on adding style controls to mimic the art from specific Pokémon generations in a future update.
How does the AI come up with abilities and Pokédex entries?
Our AI is a large language model trained on the entire Pokédex, fan theories, and biology. It generates creative and plausible text based on the creature's design and type.
Can I combine more than two Pokémon?
The Type Fusion feature currently supports combining two Pokémon. We are experimenting with multi-fusion, but it’s a complex process to get right!
What makes a good text prompt for a new Pokémon?
Think like a Pokémon designer! Combine a real-world animal or object with an element or concept. For example: 'A crystal scorpion that lives in caves' or 'A ghost-type grandfather clock'.
Can I use these in my fan game?
Absolutely! That’s one of the main reasons we built this tool. The generated art and sprite sheets are perfect for non-commercial fan projects and ROM hacks.
Why doesn't my creature look exactly like I described?
The AI uses your prompt as inspiration. It balances your request with its knowledge of the Pokémon design language to ensure the final creature feels authentic. Try regenerating or rephrasing your prompt for a different result.
Can the AI animate the sprites?
Currently, we only generate static sprite sheets. Animation is a much more complex task, but it is a long-term goal for our development team.
How are the base stats determined?
The AI suggests a plausible stat distribution based on the creature's design, type, and Pokédex entry (e.g., a bulky rock-type will have high defense). These are for flavor and can be adjusted by you.
Do you support Mega Evolutions or Gigantamax Forms?
Not yet, but it's a highly requested feature! We are actively researching how to implement these special transformations while maintaining design quality.
